1.     The battalion will march to billets in Cassel Area, on August 24TH, 1916.

2.     The battalion will parade at 6.55 a.m. Markers 6.45 a.m. Transport will parade in rear of Battalion.

3.     DRESS: Marching Order. Rubber sheets on outside of pack under cover straps. Steel helmets on pack on top of rubber sheets between cover straps. Canteens, without covers, will be slung on straps under packs, the bottoms horizontal. Iron rations will be in haversacks. Knickers are not to be worn on any pretext whatever. Officers, Sam Browne belts, haversacks, water bottles, gas helmets. No sticks or gloves.

4.     There will be no smoking on the march except during halts.

5.     Guides from advance parties will meet Bn. at bridge on main road STEENVOORDE opposite RUE CARNOT, to conduct Companies and detachments to their billets.

6.     There will be a roll taken of each platoon by platoon officers and of each detachment by detachment commanders before parade in morning, and a check roll call held before dismissal on arrival in billets. Any man falling out will receive a slip from his Company or platoon commander, which he will present to the Medical Officer, who will be in rear of the Bn. Any man who falls out and does not obtain a certificate from the Medical Officer that he cannot march with the Bn. will be severely dealt with (F.P. will be awarded).

7.     Officers' kits, etc, must be ready by 6.00 a.m. tomorrow, the 24TH inst., and piled in a convenient place.
