2ND WEEK ENDING AUGUST 11th, 1917.

1917. Aug. 5th. R.C.R. Church Parade. (1) Companies will do at least half an hour per day with gas helmets on.
(2) 2 Companies will have 45 minutes a day Close Order drill, under the R.S.M., in the following order, commencing Monday August 6th,- "C" Co., "D" co., "A" Co., "B" Co. at the same hours as heretofore.
(3) Company route march daily, i.e., one Company per day.
(4) Live grenade throwing and Rifle Grenade work daily.
(5) Written examination of Young Officers, one day during the week.
Aug. 6th. R.C.R. "A" Co: at Disposal of Co. Cmdr.
"B" Co: at Disposal of Co. Cmdr.
"C" Co: at Disposal of Co. Cmdr.
"D" Co: at Disposal of Co. Cmdr.
Aug. 7th. R.C.R. "A" Co: 1. Musketry at Ranges.
2.Lecture on History of the Royal Cdn. Regt.
3.Lecture on Cdn. Corps Trench Standing Order.
"B" Co: do. do.
"C" Co: do. do.
"D" Co: do. do.
Aug. 8th. R.C.R. "A" Co: Co. in Trench to Trench attack; demonstrating action of all Infantry Arms, on principles laid down in S.S.143 for Platoons. Special attention being given to Snipers and Moppers Up.
"B" Co: do. do.

"D" Co: do. do.
Aug. 9th. R.C.R. "A" Co: 1. Rapid Wiring.
2.Question on Cdn. Corps Trench Standing Orders.
3.Platoon in Attack, while remainder look on and criticize.
