The R.C.R.

A scheme for the exercise of H.Q. of Units, and Signal personnel (without troops) will be held on Friday, 14th June near NORRENT FONTES, under Divisional arrangements.

The following will take part:-

H.Q., of Units will be represented as follows.

Brigades and C.R.A. Will each send as many of their Staff as possible. Brigadiers need not attend. Artillery Brigades, Inf. Battalions and C.L.H. Will each send 2nd in command or Adjutant and a clerk to write messages.

All units will bring as many Signal personnel as possible.

The exercise will be carried out in accordance with a scheme to be forwarded later. It will commence at 9.00 a.m. and continue until about 4.00 p.m. Haversack Lunch will be taken.

The scheme will be carried out without Telephones. Vibrator, Visual, Wireless and D.Rs., etc., only to be used.

An aeroplane will probably also take part. Popham Panels will be taken by Bdes and Battalions.

A. & Q. will arrange buses for conveyance of H.Q. Of Brigade and Battalions of 8th C.I. Bde and of H.Q. 2 Battalions of 9th C.I.Bde, to and from the exercise.
