Trooping the South African Banner.

(First occasion February 27th, 1920.)

Battalion in line with Colours, band and Drums in front of the centre of the battalion and facing it at 50 paces.

Cased Banner in front of the left flank of the Battalion in line with the Band, Banner carried by Adjutant, R.S.M. on the right, a C.S.M. on the left.

Commanding Officer advances to the Banner and removes case, salutes and resumes position.

Banner is lowered for the uncasing.
Drums play a ruffle.

 

Banner when uncased returned to the carry.

Banner Party, Left Form.
Quick March.
Right Form,
Forward.

(On arrival at Position C.)
At the halt, Right Form.

(Band plays slow march.)
