The Princess of Wales' Own Regiment

Highlighted Battle Honours are approved for emblazonment on the Regimental Colour. Capitalized Battle Honours indicate the name of a group of battles, actions or engagements. Where common names but separate year dates created a combined battle honour title authorized as a single name for emblazonment, both have been highlighted.

Second World War Honorary Distinction

Second World War Honorary Distinction  - The badge of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders with the year dates 1944-1945, approved for emblazonment on the Regimental Colour.

War of 1812 Honorary Distinction

War of 1812 Honorary Distinction (non-emblazonable) - In 2012 the Canadian Goverment decided to award the right of perpetuation of War of 1812 Honours to current units of the Canadian Army. The Princess of Wales’ Own Regiment was awarded the non-emblazonable Honorary Distinction Defence of Canada – 1812-1815 – Défense de Canada in perpetuation of the actions of the following War of 1812 units of the pre-Confederation Militia:

• 1st Regiment of Addington Militia (1812-15)
• 1st Regiment of Frontenac Militia (1812-15)
• 1st Regiment of Lennox Militia (1812-15)
